Falls started out as a project to decorate
my property. Before I knew it, I looked up and found a
unique picnic park staring back at me. I don't think
of the place as a big deal or as something special. The place is
certainly not on the scale of a full time amusement park, but it
is unique. I have people pulling into my driveway and just take
a few minutes to just admire.
I've had people tell me I should charge admission while
others say I should bring in reinactments. I'm not
sure what kind of events will be scheduled. I've had
some requests by local groups to have their
picnics and I have accomodated them. For the most part, past events
have been by invitation only. The town is still under constuction
and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2005. I'm not sure
at this point how I will make it to open to public access. Liability,
zoning and insurance issues are items that I am dealing with.
If anyone
would like some tips on how to build a poor mans attraction, contact
me at b4kdm@yahoo.com.
In
the meantime, take a virtual tour of the park and let me know what
you think.
