The Sky Surfer is the only documented ride that was installed at LeSourdsville Lake but never operated. The Sky Sufer was purchased in the spring of 2002 from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and was going to be called the Sky Surfer or the Wave Jammer, depending on the source you talk to. The ride was installed in Logger's Run on the site of the Tempest during August 2002. Before the ride could be completed, the park was closed down prematurely due to problems between the park's management company, the Pugh group, and the park owner.
