The Jolly Roger
Funport was built in 1989 on the site of the park's 1924 carousel
that burned to the ground a year earlier. This attraction featured
slides, tunnels and climbing ropes that kept children entertained
for hours while their parents could sit nearby and take a well-deserved
break. In February 2002, the ride was donated by park owner Jerry
Couch to the City of Monroe, Ohio for use in one of their parks.
