The Galleon swinging ship was installed in 1987 and promptly removed after the 1989 season. It was located in Logger's Run in a very secluded corner of the area. Pictured in front of the ride is park owner Howard Berni who was supervising the installation of the ride during the spring of 1987. [Photo credit: Hamilton Journal-News]
While it was popular with those who braved the ride, finding it was another adventure. The ship, built in Italy by Zamperla, was a 60-foot pirate ship that swung riders in a 200-degree arc. [Photo credit: Debby Berni Robison]
