Bumper Buggy

Bumper Buggy was installed for the 1982 season as an alternative to the Dodgem ride. Riders used levers instead of a steering wheel and were protected by large, air-filled bags. The ride was located in the former Hanneford Circus. During the winter months, the cars were placed in a storage area inside the Stardust Gardens complex and were destroyed when the area caught fire in January 1990. The ride was not replaced, but the park did purchase a new Dodgem ride for the 1990 season. [Photo credit: Hamilton Journal-News]
